I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Kitara with Kitara Davis Events and Dahlia Fields for a handful of years now. She’s a brilliant stylist with many talents, and is made up of nothing but good… it was an easy decision to hop on a plane to Seattle to photograph a branding shoot for her! Coming […]

Katie and Dan are so refreshing to be around. Their love is so comfortable, full of laughter and ease! They weren’t afraid to just be them, and that’s all I ever want to see as a photographer!

We decided to head up to Skalkaho Falls for their engagement session, a place that is near and dear to their hearts and mine. I grew up driving over Skalkaho Pass every summer with my family, on our way to

There are just some people in this world that are unforgettable, for reasons big or small, but for a reason, none-the-less. Kori is one of those people.

I think it’s safe to say that 2017 was a year that rocked most of our worlds. Our media feeds were constantly shoving news of awful events, natural disasters, and discontent into our faces.  Good changes happened, bad changes happened, and all of it put us on one wild rollercoaster. To be honest, I’ve never really enjoyed rollercoasters.

On top of everything going on in the world, 2017 sent me a lot of challenges in my personal life, too….

Jenn and Robert’s intimate backyard wedding in Missoula, Montana, was one of my favorite weddings to date. It was colorful, joyful, simple, and down to earth, and oh so beautiful. They celebrated with their closest friends, family and their adorable son, with a sweet ceremony, cocktail hour, yard games and a casual dinner, all while being serenaded by…

It was such a lovely evening hanging out with Hannah and Nick for their engagement session! The weather was perfect, not too hot or cold, and the two of them had a natural chemistry that was so fun to photograph. They weren’t afraid to laugh and flirt with each other, something I love to see in the couple’s I work with!

We took a short hike up to an area I’ve never taken any clients. There’s sage brush all over (one of my favorites!) and these gorgeous rocks that stand tall from the ground. Hannah’s dress was so romantic with the swooped low back, I couldn’t get enough of photographing it!…

Guys, my little man is already over TWO MONTHS OLD. How did the time go by so fast?? It’s hard to believe that 9 weeks have already passed since I got to hold my baby boy on my chest for the first time. He was a pretty big boy when he was born, 8lbs 11oz! Nothing has changed, as he eats all the time and has chunked up a whole bunch since then – you can see the difference in the last photo. He weighs almost 14 pounds now!

Maddie and Caleb’s wedding at Gallatin River Hideaway in Bozeman, Montana was one I won’t soon forget! It was a little different than the normal weddings I photograph, because these two are part of TLC’s show, Sister Wives! Instead of working with a typical videographer team, I got to work with a whole TV crew – so crazy and fun!

When Maddie first met Caleb, she wasn’t really fond of him, but after a while they became good friends. Three years after they met, they were ATV riding when those “more than friends” sparks started to fly…
